This course is designed for students to learn their rights and responsibilities as a citizen and what steps they can take to ensure that their rights are respected. They will also study governmental systems and analyze our nation’s founding documents.

This course will introduce students to the broad and exciting field of Psychology in which they will study the science of the mind and examine the historical development and growth of psychology.

Global Perspectives:

sCurrent affairs on a national and international level: current events, traditional economics (national and international), global geography, and international relations
sU.S. News & World Report magazine and U.S.A. Today newspaper
 
This course is designed for students to review the Social Studies disciplines that they have had in previous years.  The use of U.S. News & World Report and various current media will help to promote an informed citizenship that will prepare students to be effective participants in American society.

 

History of Wisconsin

sNative American habitation/influence, settlement, geography, economics, formation of countries, major personalities, and government
